Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms set the conditions for using the Ecostat app and www.ecostat.net (the “Service”) provided by The Company (the “Operator”), and the rights and obligations of the Operator and users.
Article 2 (The Service)
The Service is an information service that organizes public data such as global macro indicators, commodities, stocks, ETFs, bonds and company financial statements, and presents it with plain-language explanations in Korean and English.
Article 3 (Sign-up and accounts)
- Users sign up by signing in with a Google or Apple account.
- An account must be used only by its owner and may not be transferred or shared.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Settings tab in the app.
Article 4 (Free trial and subscription)
- New users can try every feature free for 14 days. The free trial is limited to one per account.
- After the trial, continued use requires a monthly subscription (KRW 3,500 per month). The actual amount and currency follow what the store displays.
- Payments and refunds are handled under the policies of Google Play and the Apple App Store.
- You can cancel in your store’s subscription settings before the next billing date, and you can keep using the Service until the period you have already paid for ends.
- Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription automatically; you must cancel it in the store yourself.
Article 5 (Disclaimer on investment information)
- Data comes from third-party sources such as Trading Economics, Marketstack, DART, SEC EDGAR and EDINET, and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate.
- Some values may be estimates ahead of official releases.
- Indicator commentary and some sentences are generated automatically and may not fit every situation.
- Values shown are not real-time during market hours. You can see when data was last refreshed under “Data refresh” in the Settings tab.
Article 6 (User obligations)
Users must not copy or redistribute the Service’s data without permission, collect it in bulk by automated means, or interfere with the operation of the Service. Violations may result in restricted access.
Article 7 (Changes to or suspension of the Service)
The Operator may change or suspend part of the Service because of data providers’ circumstances, maintenance or outages, and will give notice in advance where possible.
Article 8 (Limitation of liability)
To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for damages caused by natural disasters, interruptions by third-party data providers or the user’s own fault. This does not apply to damages caused by the Operator’s intent or gross negligence.
Article 9 (Changes to these terms)
We will post changes in the Service or on this page 7 days before they take effect.
Article 10 (Governing law and disputes)
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute between the Operator and a user arising from the Service will be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
